No. 069222103000 and email: [email protected] (the “Company”), which operates the TagPulse service, maintains a strict policy for the protection of the personal data of the visitors of the website https://tagpulse.ai/ (the “Website”) and of the users of the TagPulse application for mobile devices (the “Mobile Application”).

By means of this notice we provide you with further information on the type of cookies and related technologies used on our Website and within the Mobile Application, and on the manner of their use. We point out that this notice operates in a manner supplementary to the TagPulse Personal Data Processing Policy, to which we refer for any matter not specifically regulated here.

The storing of information, or the gaining of access to information already stored, in your terminal equipment is carried out in accordance with Article 4(5) of Law 3471/2006, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) and Guideline No. 1/2020 of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

This policy may be unilaterally amended at any time. Any amendment shall take effect from the moment it is announced on this particular webpage. It is recommended that you check this page from time to time in order to ensure that you are aware of any changes.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are short pieces of software code which are sent, when you visit a website, by our Company’s web server for storage in your terminal equipment, their basic function being to communicate to us data from your browser which will allow us to make our website more functional and more appealing to our users.

Depending on their duration, cookies are either “session cookies” or “persistent cookies”. “Session cookies” are automatically deleted when you close your browser, whereas “persistent cookies” remain stored in your terminal equipment until the expiry of their predetermined period of validity.

Depending on who places them, cookies are distinguished into “first party” cookies, which are placed by the Website itself, and “third party” cookies, which are placed by third-party service providers whose content is embedded in the Website.

Beyond cookies in the strict sense, an equivalent function is performed by other technologies for storing information in your terminal equipment, such as the browser’s local storage (local storage / session storage), digital markers (pixels, tags) and, on mobile devices, the identifiers stored by the application (tokens). These technologies are subject to the same rules as cookies and are covered by this policy.

Does our Business Use Cookies?

Yes, we make use of certain cookies with the principal aim of making our Website functional and secure, remembering your choices, understanding on a statistical basis how it is used and measuring the effectiveness of our advertisements.

In addition to our own cookies, we also use third-party cookies, as described in this policy. Through third-party cookies, data relating to your browsing behaviour and your device may be collected, which is used for statistical purposes and for measuring our advertising activities.

We clarify that we do not use cookies for profiling with a view to displaying personalised advertisements to you within or outside the Website, and we do not transmit cookie data to advertising networks for targeting purposes. Our Company does not engage in any act of sale or trading of data collected in this manner.

Finally, it is noted that the TagPulse application for the Windows operating system uses neither cookies nor equivalent tracking technologies; its communication with our servers takes place through encrypted API calls with authentication tokens.

How Do You Give Your Consent to the Acceptance of our Cookies?

Upon entering the home page of the Website you will find a short informative notice in a pop-up window regarding our use of cookies, which is placed in a prominent position and refers to this cookies policy.

In that informative notice you will find important information on the description and characteristics of the different categories of cookies. You will also have the opportunity to consent to the preference cookies, statistical analysis cookies and marketing cookies that we use.

The option of rejecting non-essential cookies (“Accept essential only”) is offered just as readily and with the same number of actions as the acceptance of all of them. The withholding or the withdrawal of your consent affects neither your access to the Website nor your ability to download and use our software.

Your consent may be withdrawn at any time, without retroactive effect, as readily as it was given, through the “Cookie Settings” link located in the footer of every page of the Website.

How Can You Disable the Use of Cookies?

Cookies are stored on your computer or device after you have been informed of the privacy settings and have given your consent to their use. Should you so wish, you have the possibility to modify the settings of your web browser so as to delete the cookies already existing on your hard drive and to choose either for all new cookies to be automatically rejected, or to be asked, each time a cookie is about to be placed, whether you wish to reject or accept it. You should, however, bear in mind that the rejection of cookies may make the provision of certain personalised features more difficult or impossible.
